I started this program because of peer pressure. The truth is I've secretly been wanting to challenge myself to a break from drinking and focus more on exercise for a long time and PCP's slightly cooler than AA.
As I stopped drinking at home the results were pretty cool. I realized that I'm equally as entertained or relaxed at night without having a bottle of Michael Jackson's ~Jesus Juice. (or maybe that's only what you call it when you're giving it to kids).
It's great not waking up with a hangover everyday wondering what the hell you wrote on facebook... or posted on pcp! Was that my ass....? Yes, it was. Oh geez, not again.
Yes, I learned a few tid bits of info... or as Patrick calls them, “wisdom bombs!” lol, but I've always been into healthy eating. If you don't know about high fructose corn syrups or trans fats by now then you deserve some cellulite. The most important thing I learned from pcp is working out averagely will get you an average body... ie me. Working out hard will get you a sexier body. Seems basic, but my pre-pcp 1 hr gym routines seem like infants blubber at this point. Oh, and I lost 8 pounds and learned I'm not a total alcoholic. Just a "half drunk" as we tried our first week of pcp.
Taking photos by myself was a bit challenging so I had to get creative. “Hey honey, take some photos of my ass so I can post them up in the internet”, does not go over so well with hubby.
Holidays are PCP kryptonite. I could have had better results had I not been on 5 holidays in 5 countries for 5 days each. I just feel if you're on holiday you deserve to Enjoy! Which we did. But that's ok because...
Most people think after this 90 days it's finally the end... in my mind it's the beginning.
Cheers mates!
